As we progress into 2025, we are expanding our IT footprint and seek experienced Network and Systems Engineers to join the team in the Para Hills West Head Office.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and industry experience may also be considered.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CompTIA Network+
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
    Those candidates successful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Pre-employment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a qualified and experienced Network and Systems Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the Liebherr Australia’s IT infrastructure to ensure availability, security, and optimal performance. This role plays a critical part in managing network operations, server environments, and cybersecurity measures, enabling seamless business operations and supporting the company’s growth.

SKILLS AND DUTIES:

With an immediate start available, you will be required to:

  • Ensure high availability of network and server infrastructure, including routine maintenance, upgrades, and proactively resolve issues and implement improvements
  • Continuously monitor the performance of systems and networks and provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated incidents
  • Conduct root cause analysis of recurring incidents to eliminate underlying problems and reduce future impact
  • Implement and maintain security controls, patch management, and monitoring tools to protect against threats and vulnerabilities and document infrastructure changes, ensuring systems are secure
  • Support the technical implementation of infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and deployments aligned with IT strategy.
