Network Architect – 12-month contract - $900 + super per day – Sydney
Your new company
This Federal organisation are currently seeking an experience Network Architect or Senior Network Operations Engineer to come and join the team on a 12-month contract. They work in a O365 environment, and the role will sit within the Technology and Network team. They are located in Sydney CBD and offer work from home 2 days per week.
Your new role
As a Network Architect you will be able to lead the design, build and deploy network solutions. You will understand how to develop firewalls, understand CVE’s security patching and be able to think about risks outside the network. You will be confident and communicate clearly as you will be dealing with internal and external (key stakeholders and vendors etc). You will be able to negotiate and talk about your design and present these in relevant boards. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, network architecture or detailed technical knowledge, and have operational experience.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong Network operations experience with architecture and design experience
• Strong experience developing firewalls and VLANS and IP
• Strong experience working in a O365 environment
• Strong experience with AWS and AZURE as well as on prem
• Strong communication and vendor/stakeholder relationship building
• Security patching experience
• Essential 8 security best practises experience would be ideal
• Certifications in:
• Fortinet NSE5 or abov
• Cisco CCNPor CCIE certifications
• CompTIA Network +
• Be an Australian citizen
