Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We are seeking a Network Automation Engineer for a long-term contract role supporting a cutting-edge software-defined infrastructure project. Youll work closely with infrastructure and platform squads to design, develop, and integrate network automation solutions in a secure and complex environment. This is a Canberra-based, onsite opportunity requiring NV1 clearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and implement automation using Python and Ansible.
  • Assist in integrating third-party infrastructure products into a cohesive software-defined data centre.
  • Participate in architecture planning, code reviews, and test plan execution.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and apply test-driven development practices.
  • Write and maintain high-quality documentation.
  • Solve complex integration and development challenges across network and software domains.
