WE’RE HIRING: NETWORK BLACK BOX L1 ENGINEER (WITH LMS ADMIN EXPERIENCE)

Location: UAE (Dubai / Abu Dhabi / Sharjah) Experience: 5+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Network Black Box L1 Engineer with strong skills in network monitoring, incident management, and LMS (Learning Management System) administration. This role requires a professional who can handle L1 network operations while also managing and integrating LMS platforms for enterprise training and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform 24x7 monitoring and support for network infrastructure using Black Box / NOC tools.
  • Handle incident triage, troubleshooting, and escalation to L2/L3 teams.
  • Manage and administer LMS platforms (Moodle, TalentLMS, Canvas, Blackboard, or custom solutions).
  • Conduct network health checks, reporting, and system audits.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, knowledge base articles, and LMS training workflows.
  • Support patching, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to IT security, compliance, and SLA commitments.

Mandatory Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in network monitoring / NOC operations.
  • Strong knowledge of network fundamentals (routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, PRTG, etc.).
  • Proven LMS administration experience (user management, course setup, reporting, integrations).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy).
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Exposure to cloud-based network services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Networking certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or LMS certifications (Moodle, Blackboard, etc.).
