REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with expertise in LAN/WAN design, implementation, and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience with multiple secure network interfaces and protocols in a DoD or national security environment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Relevant professional certifications such as Security+, CCNP, CASP+, or SCCP+

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for all intra-enclave and external network connectivity (WAN/LAN) at BGIF
  • Maintain and optimize network interfaces to NIPR, SIPR, RTS, PWAN (Blossom Point Tracking Facility link), GWAN, and SBIRS Analytical Sub-Elements (ASE)
  • Support future network interfaces, including JWICS, as directed by the Government
  • Deliver network engineering support up to the communications demarcation for BGIF
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to collaborate with multiple tenants and external communications providers on outages, testing, upgrades, impacts, risks, mitigation, status, and reporting for both planned and unplanned events
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and maintain network performance to ensure operational readiness
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders and internal teams to implement upgrades, changes, and new capabilities
  • Document network configurations, updates, and procedures to maintain operational continuity and compliance
