NETWORK & COMMS ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams as needed to design and provision network infrastructure in a highly complex, regulated environment
  • Delivery and support of Security network infrastructure including WAN and Security (Palo Alto firewalls, site to site VPNs, Client VPNs) Cisco WLC, Cisco Sourcefire IDS
  • Monitor and support the network and gateway systems. This includes Data Centre technologies, SMTP, SSL Gateways, Load Balancers, Firewalls and IPS/IDS
  • Troubleshoot and implement SDWAN technologies such as Meraki and Viptella
  • Troubleshoot and implement LAN Ethernet technologies such as VLAN,VXLAN,OTV, STP, VPC and port-channels
  • Troubleshoot and implement data centre deployments such as ACI and Arista leaf-spine fabric
  • Be available for on call roster, cyclic maintenance, DR, high severity issue resolution periodically as part of the defined support model
  • You will apply your experience in analysing a networked environment, discovering and addressing issues quickly
  • Collaborate and share knowledge among your peers to facilitate timely and superior delivery of requirements
  • Actively assess/contribute to the continuous improvement of work, standards, processes and methodologies
