Aquam Water Services Ltd is a UVDB accredited supplier of licensed standpipes for most of the UK water utilities. We supply and deliver the correct, legally compliant water standpipes to any authorised user of the network.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE

To monitor and investigate illegal use of the water network and the subsequent uncontrolled and unregulated water extraction by unauthorised users.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Research and investigate areas of potential illegal standpipe use
· Observe known areas of misuse
· Follow up leads and referrals of misuse received from the Water Company and other third parties
· Advise the illegal operator of their actions and options
· Provide a comprehensive electronic report of the incident and complete paperwork as required by the individual water company
· Develop a knowledge of the company GPRS software and use the system to research cases of illegal use
· Develop working relationships with the Water Company compliance team
· Provide basic activity reports for the Network Compliance Manager
· Provide Witness statements using Water Company templates as required and attend court hearings as required
· Support Company activities as required
· Complete daily vehicle checks and comply with driver’s hours regulation
· Use own initiative when completing daily tasks
· Be responsible for representing Aquam when on the road and when visiting clients
· Follow strict guidelines for manual handling

OTHER DUTIES

From time-to-time there may be a requirement to assist with the following:
· Occasional standpipe deliveries if required
· Support with depot operations
