As a Consultant in our Network team, you will work with the latest network technologies across a range of clients, providing consulting and project services to deliver best of breed solutions. You will be working within a team of passionate, innovative, and engaging people who focus on delivering network solutions that best fit our client’s requirements, whilst having fun along the way.

What You’ll Do

  • Capture and evaluate client needs and requirements and develop solutions to best fit those needs
  • Provide project and consultancy services for both external and internal clients and be a key contact for clients
  • Participate in technical pre-sales engagements and assist in the preparation of sales proposals and Statements of Work
  • Develop and document high quality and innovative solutions and detailed designs covering a range of technologies, products and services
  • Work with both client and internal teams to implement network and security solutions using multiple vendor technologies
  • Perform trouble shooting tasks and work with other Datacom teams to resolve issues and implement improvements
  • Take ownership of tasks, as well as assist the broader Network Services team leveraging your extensive knowledge\

What You’ll Bring

  • Prior experience across network consulting, projects and operations
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in design and implementation involving routing and switching, wireless and firewall/security solutions
  • Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and management skills working with external and internal clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to talk to clients and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to lead and or mentor people
  • Expertise with network and security technologies (Cisco, Fortinet, F5, Palo Alto, Aruba etc.)
  • Certifications may include Cisco CCNP, Fortinet NSE4/5/7, F5 201, Palo Alto PCNSE, Aruba ACSA/ACSP, Juniper JNCIP or equivalent technical qualifications
  • Tertiary level qualification in Computer Science, Technology or a related discipline (desirable)
