Description
As a Network Consulting Engineer, you’ll be at the frontline of customer success – solving real-world problems with international customers, learning from experienced teammates, and growing fast in a supportive and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities · Assist 6WIND customers worldwide (telecom operators, cloud providers, enterprises) in deploying the Virtual Service Router (VSR) product suite and the Host Network Accelerator (HNA) and implement their various use cases. · Build strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor · Troubleshoot network equipment and complex networking issues in customer environments · Conduct comprehensive training sessions for 6WIND new customers on our solutions and best practices · Participate in product definition by writing functional specifications and beta test plans · Follow-up with R&D on new feature implementation to ensure respect of the specifications · Support presales activities in proposing comprehensive solutions to prospect expectations including PoCs · Lead consulting engagements on customer network architectures and advise on how to design efficient, scalable, and optimized architectures using 6WIND solutions. Required skills and experience · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field · 6+ years of experience in Network advanced support engineering, technical account management, or a similar customer-facing technical role · Strong understanding of Networking protocols and technologies: IPv4, IPv6, IPsec, VXLAN, MPLS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), configuration and automation tools (Netconf, Ansible), monitoring solutions (SNMP, Grafana, Kafka) · Hands-on experience with network configuration and administration in Linux/Unix environments · Strong analytical skills and a willingness to investigate complex technical problems with a high level of ownership and commitment · Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics to different audiences · Proven ability to work effectively in a team, with a positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast changing environment · Hands-on experience on virtualized (KVM, Openstack, VMWare) and/or containerized (Kubernetes, OpenShift) environments is a plus Why Join 6WIND?
