Description
Job Description You’ll own end-to-end Network Enablement to ensure trading partners can be activated quickly, correctly, and with high operational reliability. Your mission is to build and maintain the foundational network assets that make go-lives repeatable at scale—certified guidelines, accurate label templates, and stable communications channels (AS2/SFTP/VAN/MFT)—while reducing downstream rework, escalations, and production incidents. This role blends high-precision execution with strong operational judgment: you’ll deliver high throughput without sacrificing quality, keep assets current as partner requirements evolve, and maintain clean documentation and standards so the work remains scalable. This role is responsible for: Guidelines & Certification: Certifying EDI account requirements with strong coverage and correctness Labels: Creating and maintaining Trading Partner (TP) specific label templates aligned to partner requirements Comms Channels: Configuring, certifying, monitoring, and maintaining channels with high uptime and zero misroutes Quality & Rework Reduction: Preventing defects through QA checks, standards, and proactive gap closure Documentation & Standards: Maintaining clear, structured documentation and playbooks that enable repeatable execution Operational Stability: Fast troubleshooting and recovery when issues occur, with an emphasis on prevention Key Responsibilities Guidelines & Certification Certify account requirements (versions/subsets, scenarios, conditions/semantics, constraints) to enable fast and correct TP activation. Document requirements clearly and consistently in the network so downstream teams can execute without ambiguity. Support troubleshooting and clarifications when inconsistencies or edge cases emerge. Maintain certification accuracy over time as partner requirements change, ensuring the network stays current. Labels Build TP-specific label templates accurately and efficiently, applying defined standards and conventions using ZPL programming language and internal property references. Validate templates against partner requirements; maintain and update templates as requirements evolve, working alongside engineering teams as needed. Reduce rework by identifying rejection/failure root causes and improving standards, checks, and templates accordingly. Comms Channels Configure and certify communications channels (AS2/SFTP/VAN/MFT); manage certs/keys and ongoing maintenance. Monitor live channels and drive rapid resolution of issues to protect uptime and customer experience. Ensure routing integrity and prevent misroutes through careful configuration, verification, and change discipline. Document channel standards and troubleshooting playbooks; reduce recurring incidents through standardization and prevention. Requirements Highly detail-oriented with strong documentation habits and comfort working with structured requirements. Strong operational instincts: able to troubleshoot issues, follow standards, and make careful, low-risk changes. Ability to manage multiple workstreams with competing priorities while maintaining quality and throughput. Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with a strong QA mindset. Preferred EDI/X12 familiarity and comfort with transaction variability and common edge cases. Exposure to UCC128 label standards and ZPL programming language. Familiarity with SQL and comfort learning new querying techniques. Hands-on experience with AS2/SFTP and certificate management/renewals a plus. At Orderful, one of our core values is building a great community. We are looking for strong, diverse, and supportive team members. We welcome everyone to apply. Come join our team, where we celebrate differences, play to our strengths, and encourage growth!
