Description

Implement and support LAN, WAN, wireless, and network security solutions that meet corporate IT and scientific computing requirements. Manage and support connectivity between multiple locations in Asia, US, and Europe. Participate in on-call rotation with the global team. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience. 2 years of experience with network engineering and operations. Experience managing and troubleshooting firewalls, switches, and wireless from multiple vendors, such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Arista, and Juniper. Experience troubleshooting enterprise Wi-Fi. Experience with network and routing protocols - Ethernet, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, IPsec VPN, Zero-trust model. Experience with using protocol analysis tools such as wireshark. Experience with network automation. Experience building and managing networking elements within major cloud providers (AWS, MS Azure, GCP). Experience building HA infrastructure by utilizing clustering, load balancing, and other technologies. Working experience managing Palo Alto firewalls with Panorama and IAC. Experience managing DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions from different vendors (Efficient IP, Cloudflare, MS DNS). Experience in IP telephony and multi-campus video conferencing solutions. Solid understanding of QoS technologies and congestion management. Experience supporting network access control solutions (Cisco ISE, Aruba Clearpass). Experience in virtual platforms, such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM. Working knowledge of virtual network design and networking products on AWS. Proficiency in at least one programming language, e.g. Python, Java, TypeScript Proficiency in at least one IAC platform: Ansible, Chef, Puppet Professional certification such as CCNP or CCNA. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
