JOB DESCRIPTION:

Serve as a Network engineer supporting a government customer
Deliver and transport services in support of a large IT infrastructure project
Design and implement Service Provider core and edge technologies
Translate customer requirements into enterprise/service provider network solutions
Develop and negotiate IP peering agreements between service providers

QUALIFICATIONS:

Active TS/SCI with a Full-Scope Polygraph
BS in Computer Science or related
11+ years of experience and specialized focus on:
Experience with MPLS/BGP transport network design and engineering
Experience designing/implementing Service Provider core and edge technologies

Expert level experience with network routing protocols such as:

• OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and ISIS

Deep understanding of modern Service Provider architecture solutions
Experience translating customer requirements into network solutions
Ability to develop and negotiate IP peering agreements between service providers
Ability to perform upgrades and network maintenance at Tier 4 support level

Experience with multiple router operating systems to include:

• IOS-XE, IOS-XR, and JUNOS

Experience with multi-vendor solutions (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)
