Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Network Engineer or similar role in an MSP or IT environment.

  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).
  • Experience with network infrastructure devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, or Aruba.
  • Proficiency in network design and implementation, including LAN/WAN architectures, VPN configurations, and network security measures.
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking technologies and architectures, particularly in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Relevant certifications preferred, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
