Are you a seasoned Network Engineer ready to take on a challenging role in designing and supporting cutting-edge network infrastructure? We’re looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Newport, Wales, UK and play a vital role in a transformative project.

Role Details:

  • Position: Network Engineer
  • Location: Newport, Wales, UK
  • Key Focus: Network design, deployment, optimization, and maintenance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design & Implementation: Develop innovative network solutions, install and configure routers, switches, SD-WAN, OOB networks, and wireless systems.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance, resolve issues, and perform upgrades to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation while providing performance statistics and future-proof insights.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
  • Proven hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.
  • Expertise in network operating systems like Cisco IOS and technologies such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, 802.11, QoS.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco hardware, SilverPeak, OpenGear, and diagnostic tools like SolarWinds.
  • CCNP or higher certification is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, VMware) is a bonus.
