Job Title: Network Engineer – Aruba SD-WAN / Cisco / Meraki Location: India Shift: Overnight Support (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST) Experience Required: 5+ Years Certifications Preferred: CCNA / CCNP Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support and manage a hybrid enterprise network infrastructure consisting of Aruba SD-WAN, Cisco Routers, Cisco Nexus Switches, and Meraki Switches. The role involves providing overnight operational support, troubleshooting, and performing configuration and upgrade activities within the India shift. The engineer will coordinate with the US operations team for escalation, vendor coordination, and shift handover. Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 network support during India business hours (overnight shift for US coverage). Monitor, troubleshoot, and restore network connectivity and services across Aruba SD-WAN, Cisco, and Meraki environments. Perform configuration changes, OS upgrades, and firmware updates on Cisco Routers, Nexus Switches, and Meraki Switches. Support Aruba SD-WAN deployments, including routing, tunnel management, and policy configurations. Escalate critical incidents to the US team or raise tickets with vendors (Cisco TAC, HPE/Aruba, Meraki support). Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and maintain detailed incident documentation. Collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth shift handover and follow-the-sun operations. Ensure network configurations adhere to security and compliance standards. Maintain detailed knowledge of network topology, performance, and capacity metrics. Technical Environment Aruba SD-WAN: 24 nodes Cisco Routers: 20 devices Cisco Nexus Switches: 40 devices Meraki Switches: 100 devices Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration and troubleshooting. Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching (IOS/NX-OS). Working knowledge of Aruba SD-WAN and Meraki cloud-managed networking. Proficiency in VPN, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, QoS, and ACLs. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems (e.g., SolarWinds, ServiceNow). Good understanding of change management and ITIL processes. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Experience in supporting global environments with US shift coordination. Exposure to cloud network integrations (Azure, AWS, or hybrid) is a plus.
