We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing our organization’s network infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot network issues, ensure network security, and continually improve network performance and reliability.
What you’ll do
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-based network infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot outages or bottlenecks to ensure optimal uptime.
Configure and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Manage network security tools and enforce security policies and standards.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate network solutions with applications, virtualization platforms, and hyperconverged infrastructure.
Document network configurations and procedures, maintain inventories, and support disaster recovery planning.
What you’ll need
Qualifications
A post-secondary degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in network engineering or a similar role.
Network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF);
Cisco, Juniper, or other network hardware;
Firewalls and VPN technologies;
Cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure);
Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark);
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell is an asset.
