Network Engineer (Remote South Africa) Experience: Minimum 5 years Location: Remote South Africa About the Role We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, high-performing network environments. You will work with industry-leading technologies to ensure optimal network performance, reliability, and securityall while working remotely. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain secure and efficient network infrastructure. Manage and optimize Palo Alto and Cisco network devices. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime. Implement network changes, upgrades, and security measures in line with best practices. Monitor network performance and proactively address potential bottlenecks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of network systems. Maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering. Palo Alto and Cisco networking experience (essential). CCNA certification with proven applied expertise. Solid understanding of routing, switching, and firewall configuration. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices. Nice to Have Additional Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE). Experience with other firewall technologies. Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
