Our Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of network operations, including troubleshooting, project planning, and performance monitoring. This role requires a deep understanding of network infrastructure and a proactive approach to improving network performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with network hardware and protocols, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and contributing to the planning, design, and execution of network-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues arising during project implementation phases, including testing and deployment.
  • Respond to and address incidents escalated by the service desk team.
  • Plan and implement network-related projects, including upgrades, new installations, and enhancements.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and timelines are adhered to.
  • Monitor network performance to assess the need for updates, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
  • Recommend and implement options for improving network performance and reliability.
  • Ensure all network documentation and procedures are current and accurate.
  • Create and update network diagrams, configurations, and process documentation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver the best quality solutions.
