ABOUT YOU:

• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS) and security principles.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) and Cisco technologies (Cisco Routing & Switching, Meraki).
• Familiarity with additional vendors such as Palo Alto, Juniper, and Aruba is highly desirable.
• Experience in a pre-sales role, including client consultations, solution design, and proposal development.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Tertiary level qualification(s) in relevant industry certifications such as NSE4, NSE5, CCNP, or equivalent are desirable but not mandatory.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join a team of Network Engineers, for a Managed Services Provider (MSP) operating for over 20 years. You’ll design, implement, and support secure network solutions for large enterprise and government customers. You’ll be required to provide expert guidance in both operational and pre-sales engagements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse, diagnose, and resolve complex network and security issues efficiently through troubleshooting, and maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and technical documentation.
• Liaise with clients to assess requirements, propose solutions, and assist with proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Implement and manage firewall policies, VPNs, SD-WAN, and stay updated on industry security frameworks (ISM, ASD Essential Eight) to implement best practices.
