Description Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year depending on experience Location: Englewood, CO Full-Time, Monday-Friday Benefits Summary Medical, dental, vision, and 401K Health Savings Account Matching 401k (up to 6% match) Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO) Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Director of Information Technology, works in conjunction with the IT Manager and department staff and shares responsibility for the specification, selection, installation, configuration, system management and operation of all physical and virtual server hardware and software for CNS Cares. Under the guidance of the IT Manager, the Jr. Network Engineer works as part of the Information Technology Team to assist in maintaining all physical and virtual server-related assets, applications and services. Performs other related duties as assigned to support an effective and thorough technology infrastructure for the organization. Essential Functions Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to work with others at all levels of the Company and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include: Assist with the design, deployment, and support the Company’s LANs, WANs, VoIP network, and wireless network. This includes servers, routers, switches, UPSs, and other identified hardware to ensure business objectives are fulfilled and security maintained. Assist with the design, deployment, and maintenance of firewalls that support VPN site-to-site, and remote work connectivity. Document current network infrastructure, and all approved changes to the network. Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance procedures, policies for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery. Monitor, test, and troubleshoot network to ensure reliable operations using various reporting techniques. Ensure that the organization can perform and maintain security audits. Deploy and support system backups and recovery. Maintain current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems. Analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to leadership team to ensure networks are operating efficiently. Defines, documents, and enforces system standards. Assist the helpdesk/ticket system function and support company operations as directed by the IT Manager. Ensure uninterrupted coverage of the helpdesk/ticket system during business hours. Provide Tier 1-3 support services to users for incidents and service requests coming into the ticket system. Help maintain accurate inventories and assist in ordering equipment as directed; prepare and deploy equipment for staff. Work with HR to manage the equipment inventory and roll-out to provide continuous just-in-time availability of equipment for staff Requirements Education/Training Required: Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline such as Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems or Software Engineering or equivalent. Three (3) years industry experience in a similar environment. Related Competencies Language Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business practices, policies and procedures, professional journals, technical guidelines, and governmental regulations. Must be able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Must be able to provide guidance and direction accurately and clearly to Company staff and employees. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Server Infrastructure, including Azure, Hyper-V, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Familiarity with configuring DHCP and DNS services Familiarity with Office365 applications Familiarity with SonicWall products is preferred Clearances The following background checks are conducted: Criminal background OIG Exclusion List Sex Offender Registry #TFIND
