Description
Description Employment Type: Exempt Location: Hybrid — 3 days onsite / 2 days remote Office Location: Pennsauken, NJ Available Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Salary Range: $90-$120k Reports To: Director of IT Operations About DIY Media Group DIY Media Group helps independent authors and musicians around the world publish, produce, and monetize their creative work. Our industry-leading brands—including Disc Makers, BookBaby, and OnPress Book Printing—support tens of thousands of creators globally. We’re a people-first company that values flexibility, promotes from within, and prioritizes work-life balance. Our IT team is small, experienced, and highly collaborative. We take pride in building systems that are reliable, secure, and thoughtfully designed—and we prefer practical solutions over unnecessary complexity. The Role We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to support and enhance a complex enterprise network environment. This is a hands-on role for a proactive, technically skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to delivering secure, reliable, and scalable network solutions. You will own the performance, availability, reliability, and security of our network infrastructure. While the role is primarily focused on enterprise networking, security is a core responsibility, not an afterthought. You’ll help shape how our network evolves over time—participating in technical decision-making, influencing architecture direction, and continuously improving how we design, operate, and secure our infrastructure. Why This Role Is Different This is not a checkbox-driven, ticket-only networking role. You’ll be part of a small, capable team where engineering judgment matters. You won’t be buried under rigid processes or endless approvals—instead, you’ll have real input into how things are designed, secured, and improved. We value thoughtful design, pragmatic tradeoffs, and solutions that make sense for the business. If you take pride in building networks that are stable, secure, and well-understood—and want the freedom to do that work the right way—you’ll feel at home here. One Last Thing We’re builders by nature, and we take pride in doing things thoughtfully rather than simply following inherited designs. The right person for this role will care about why something works—not just that it does.
