Description
Design, configure, and implement network infrastructure to meet Epic's System Requirements and performance standards. Build and support network connectivity between Epic components, including: Design and enforce firewall rules to secure Epic environments, ensuring only necessary traffic is allowed (based on Epic port documentation). Coordinate ACLs, VLANs, and security zones to protect sensitive Epic data. Collaborate with security teams to support network segmentation, zero trust, and intrusion detection initiatives. Troubleshoot issues related to: Ensure QoS policies are applied appropriately for Epic traffic. Support for Epic Go-Lives, Migrations, and DR Readiness: Participate in Epic go-lives, upgrades, and infrastructure migrations, ensuring that network services are validated and ready. Support disaster recovery (DR) testing and redundant site configuration (active/passive or active/active designs).
