ABOUT YOU: SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6-10 or more years of Network Engineering/switching experience
  • IT, Engineering, or equivalent degree
  • Strong IT technical foundation and aptitude for fast learning
  • Expert hands-on experience in different network technologies like Cisco Routing and Switching, Network Security, Network Automation – CCNP-equivalent or above. Troubleshooting/operational background is also preferred.
  • Familiraty with other Network technologies - routing, wireless
  • Python and other programming/scripting & container platform knowledge (Ansible, Javascript, Kubernetes, Openshift)
  • Network Monitoring Technologies: DataDog, Thousandeyes, Nobl9
  • Network Management Systems/Automation: Nautobot
  • CCNP (ENCOR + ENARSI) or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and quality-oriented mindset
  • Great interpersonal/team-player attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Desire to work in a fast paced and constantly evolving agile environment
  • Passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Respects diversity and comfortable in multinational environment
  • Adaptable/flexible to challenging situations and decisions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Hands-on experience and candid interest in SDWAN technologies (Versa is preferred)
  • Equal to Versa SD-WAN Administrator Specialist/professional or Cisco ENSDWI concentration exam level (done with ENCOR)
  • Wireless experience (including fieldwork)/background and desire in development in this skill area as well.
  • Practical experience in working in an Agile team
  • Solid understanding of Firewall technologies - Cisco ASA, Fortinet

Responsibilities

WHAT ROLE WILL YOU PLAY IN OUR TEAM

As a Network Engineer of this team, Your role is pivotal by contributing to your team deliverables and objectives in defining global standards, also making critical decisions in complex and diverse infrastructural environment solutions while following Agile principles.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Test, Design and create PoC for Next-gen Firewall solutions (e.g. Fortinet) as Global standard for Network Infrastructure Security
  • Collaborate with Solution Architect, Technology Vendors, Resident Engineers and other Tech Team engineers in Global Agile Technology Team
  • Provide occasional technical guidance and support to Branch Product Teams
  • Technical SME support for internal Audits and other IT Risk Management/Security & Controls activities.
  • On-demand support for critical operational issues and troubleshooting
