REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in network engineering roles.
  • In-depth understanding of network protocols and architectures (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, VRRP, HA clusters).
  • Strong experience with enterprise-class networking and security platforms (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • Experience in configuring and hardening network infrastructure; familiarity with patching, compliance standards, and change control procedures.
  • Practical exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with system administration (Windows/Linux) will be advantageous.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent are required; additional certifications (e.g., NSE, PCNSE, AWS) are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and take on challenging assignments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and maintain complex network infrastructures including routing, switching, firewall, and load balancing solutions.
  • Implement and support network and security appliances such as firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, SD-WAN, and wireless controllers.
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support to clients via remote troubleshooting and onsite interventions.
  • Perform network performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive maintenance to ensure optimal system uptime.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to resolve incidents and escalate technical issues as required.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
  • Assist in project planning, proposal drafting, and pre-sales technical consultations when necessary.
  • Conduct network assessments, audits, and vulnerability reviews to identify gaps and implement security best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions.
