We’re seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to manage and enhance network and security infrastructure across production, DR, and test environments for a leading Financial institution. You’ll ensure high availability, security compliance, and operational resilience through upgrades, DR testing, and incident resolution.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years in network administration (L2/L3, OSPF/BGP, VLAN, VPN, QoS, HA/VRRP/HSRP).
• Proven experience in Financial institution environments with regulatory and security compliance.
• Strong knowledge of DR processes, configuration management, and monitoring tools (SolarWinds/PRTG/Splunk).
• Cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP) experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Administer and optimize network/security systems (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers).
• Perform hardening, upgrades, patching, and EOL remediation.
• Manage DR plans, configuration backups, and certificate renewals.
• Deliver L2 support, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support projects, coordinate change windows, and maintain network documentation.
• Monitor capacity, performance, and compliance with security policies.
