JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Responsible for performance and availability of Compute and Network infrastructure consumed by all business segments. This role is focused on delivering monitoring and automation capabilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a network support or help desk role, ideally with exposure to enterprise or datacenter environments.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Network Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network related issues, both hardware and software, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Layer 2 & Layer 3 Support: Provide troubleshooting support for routing and switching environments.
  • UTM Firewall Management: Work with UTM firewalls to update security and traffic polices, debug traffic flows and firewall rules.
  • Network Configuration Validation: Review and validate network configurations to ensure they align with company standards and best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Utilize network monitoring tools to validate the health and performance of all network systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate network documentation, including configurations and diagrams to accurately depict steady state information.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, vendors and customers located throughout the world.
  • Incident Response: Act as a point of contact for resolving network related incidents and outages. (There is no requirement for on call support)
