Description
The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, installing, maintaining and supporting LAN, WAN and VoIP infrastructures. Provide high-level technical support for voice and data network systems, creates and maintains network documentation, maintains hardware and software standards, and works projects as needed in order to upgrade to new and / or improved communication equipment and procedures. The Network Engineer must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems. It is important for your projects and all service orders to be 100% complete even if weekend and out of business hours work may be required. Will also be responsible for Responsibilities Plan and Implement LAN / WAN communications. Configure, manage, maintain and monitor network hardware such as Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways and firewalls. Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, BGP and OSPF. Configure and troubleshoot technologies like MPLS, VPLS, MLA VPNs and Traffic Engineering. Plan and Manage IPv4 Subnets with proper desired addressing based on locations. Configure and troubleshoot Switching technologies including VLANs and RSTP. Configure and troubleshoot ACLs and MAC filtering. Remotely manage network locations and document maps. Duties involve among others, management of local and wide area network, projects, and installation of new devices, system and on-going maintenance of infrastructure. Candidate must be a team player and be able to follow processes and procedures. Work closely with other teams to help in understanding of network requirements Pleasant and professional manner with all levels of clients which include all levels of project level. Ability to work independently and in teams to complete full range of tasks assigned. Any other additional tasks assigned by Supervisor in order to accomplish tasks. Nationality No Restriction Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Must have valid Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certifications. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is desired. Microsoft soft, Juniper, CompTIA or other relevant certifications will be advantage. Experience Minimum of 5 Years Experience in managing a large network infrastructure. In-depth knowledge and experience of LAN / WAN communications, network hardware such as Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways and firewalls. Possess five years' experience as a Network Engineer (or similar responsibilities). Experienced in managing multiple site networks. Expert with Cisco equipment's.
