Senior Network Engineer | Cisco, MPLS 

Sydney | Enterprise Environment | Full-Time

We're Scaling the Network Team & partnering with a growing telecommunications business that is expanding its enterprise team and looking for experienced Senior Network Engineers with strong Cisco and routing experience.

The Role

You'll work across complex enterprise environments, taking ownership of network design, implementation, migration, troubleshooting and operational support.

You'll be working across:

• Cisco IOS / IOS-XE / NX-OS
• MPLS, VRF, VPN & WAN
• BGP, OSPF and routing protocols
• Enterprise LAN/WAN and data-centre networks
• Carrier and telecommunications infrastructure
• Network migrations, upgrades and major implementations
• High-availability and resilient network architectures
• Complex routing and network troubleshooting

You'll also work closely with carriers, telcos and internal infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and service teams.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience as a Network Engineer within enterprise, telecommunications, carrier, MSP or service-provider environments.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, VRF and WAN technologies.
• Proven experience delivering network implementations, migrations and upgrades.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working within structured change management, including implementation, testing, validation and rollback planning.
• Ability to design highly available, scalable and resilient network solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• CCNA or CCNP certification - CCNP highly regarded.
• Telecommunications / carrier experience is highly desirable.
