JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. This role requires a deep understanding of computer networking principles and hands-on experience with various networking technologies. EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a Network Engineer role or similar position.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including MPLS, UNIX, and SDLC methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Cisco networking equipment and configurations.
  • Experience in configuring firewalls and managing network security protocols.
  • Familiarity with Java programming is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.

  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Ensure network security by implementing appropriate measures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies into the existing network framework.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference.
  • Participate in the development of policies and procedures related to network security and usage.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve network efficiency.
