Our Network Engineers manage the operation of network-related infrastructure, security, and services. Our Engineers drive the configuration and operation of routers and switches, wireless networks, network security services such as firewalls/secure web gateways/proxies, or network observability platforms.

  • Contribute: In this role, you will build broad skills across a wide variety of network technologies that enable you to perform maintenance activities, handle both routine and unusual change requests, and address medium complexity incidents for the entire network technology portfolio. In addition, you will:
  • Collaborate with other areas within IT, Information Security, Corporate Services, and Software Development to design and deliver business solutions, identify and remediate medium complexity performance and connectivity issues, and ensure the availability / stability / performance / security of our technology infrastructure.Â
  • Leverage your proficiency with network automation technologies and practices to better operate and manage these platforms at scale.
  • Take a lead role for at least one network technology, guiding efforts around roadmap, design, upgrade, configuration, and monitoring of that network technology or service.
  • Complete medium-complexity maintenance, requests, and incident remediation across the network portfolio with minimal assistance or oversight.
  • Within the context of assigned network technology, collaborate with 3rd parties (including business partners, carriers, OEMs, and resellers) to ensure Sentry is realizing the value of their investment in the platform.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within Technology & Infrastructure Services and Information Security.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver services or address issues.
  • Develop and communicate work plans for medium-complexity efforts and deliver according to plan.
  • Identify opportunities to improve network platforms and services. Complete the work needed to deliver these improvements. Address the root cause of issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems and capabilities
