Job Title: Network Engineer III (Federal Contract)
Location: Orlando, FL (On-site at VA Medical Center)
Pay: $50.00/hour + $4.93/hour Health & Welfare + Full Benefits
Employment Type: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Occasional Weekends
Clearance Required: Ability to obtain Tier II Public Trust

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to pass a Tier II (Public Trust) background investigation
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-site enterprise networks
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Proven experience with:
    -Cisco 6500/6509, Catalyst 3000/4000 series switches
    -VLANs, EtherChannel, IP routing, DNS, VPN
    -Wireless LAN Controllers and Access Points

ABOUT THE ROLE

Leading Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Network Engineer III to support the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Orlando VA Medical Center. This position plays a vital role in maintaining and expanding a secure, air-gapped Industrial Control Network (ICN) across multiple VA sites in Central Florida.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design, configure, and maintain wired and wireless LAN environments
  • Support secure interconnectivity across multiple VA campuses
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues involving IP telephony, CCTV, and access control systems
  • Maintain and document telecommunication room configurations and ICN components
  • Lead network projects, migrations, and hardware installations
  • Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-171 Rev. 3 and VA IT policies
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and federal staff to support infrastructure growth
