THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a Network Engineer to take on a critical role in our operations. This position goes beyond routine maintenance; you will be responsible for building and fortifying the core network infrastructure that supports our oil and gas business. You’ll be at the forefront of network design and cybersecurity, working across both corporate offices and remote field sites. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring seamless and secure operations in both our IT and OT (operational technology) environments.

Responsibilities
  • Designing, deploying, and maintaining network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Cloud).
  • Ensuring the high availability and reliability of the network.
  • Managing and configuring network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, modems, VPN, DHCP, etc.).
  • Proactively monitoring and optimizing network performance.
  • Managing telecommunication providers and vendors.
  • Controlling and optimizing network and telecom costs.
  • Providing on-call support for mission-critical operations.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of network diagrams, IP address management, and change control logs.
  • Complying with company and IT policies, standards, and SOPs
