Infotel UK is looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. You will play a critical role in supporting our clients by troubleshooting issues and ensuring the reliability of their networks. Responsibilities Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to ensure maximum uptime and reliability. Troubleshoot network-related problems and perform root cause analysis to mitigate future occurrences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement network security measures. Document network configurations and maintain up-to-date records of all network devices and settings. Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades, migrations, and expansions. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance network performance and security. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and configurations. Experience with routing and switching technologies from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper). Familiarity with network security principles and tools (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
