Description

Integritas Solutions, a technology solution provider, is looking for a Network Engineer for a long term contract who will be responsible for the configuration, installation, monitoring, and support of CCH network systems—including Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), VoIP, Wireless Access Systems, network segments, network performance, and Internet connectivity within the Hospital Information Systems (HIS) department. The Network Engineer collaborates closely with IT teams across architecture, design, security engineering, Helpdesk/Desktop support, and application integration, working in a fast-paced healthcare environment that demands high performance and resiliency.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related field.
  • 7+ years WLAN experience, including:
  • Deep understanding of Wi-Fi 6 technology
  • Wireless SSID configurations and best practices
  • Cisco 8845 Wireless Access Controllers
  • 7+ years LAN/WAN experience, including:
  • Cisco, Arista, Juniper, and Fortinet platforms
  • Load balancing (F5, A10, or similar)
  • Protocols: BGP, OSPF, QoS, IDS/IPS, VoIP, VPN
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for routing, switching, firewalls, IPS, proxies, and NAC.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 7K/9K Spine-Leaf architecture, Catalyst/Nexus switches, and ASR routers.
  • Mastery of Layer 2/3 protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VPC, EtherChannel, trunking).
  • Knowledge of IoT and IoMT devices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Wireshark.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across all hospital staff levels.
  • Proven ability to multitask and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with mentoring skills and experience collaborating with TAC for vendor support.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or similar).
  • Experience with Azure networking or similar cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies (DMVPN, Silver Peak, Riverbed, Fortinet).
  • Knowledge of security products (IPSEC, eVPN, ISE, Palo Alto, Fortigate).
  • Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Prior familiarity with the CCHHS network and facilities.
  • On-call availability for after-hours support.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, MIS, Business, or related field (required).
  • Cisco certification in LAN management (preferred).
  • Project management certification (preferred).

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network deployments aligned with CCHHS architecture, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot and configure advanced Layer 2/3 LAN/WAN/Campus/Datacenter networks.
  • Provide Level III escalation support for Network Analyst I and II positions.
  • Collaborate with Network Support Team members across CCHHS and County WAN groups.
  • Administer DHCP, VLAN, and static IP address configurations.
  • Maintain and optimize scalable network technologies to support organizational growth.
  • Coordinate network downtime with the Help Desk and notify end users.
  • Manage and troubleshoot WLAN technologies, including Wi-Fi 6.
  • Participate in weekly Network Support Team meetings and deliver monthly usage reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
