In our Network Operations team within the Technology/Operations department, you will contribute to the implementation planning and operational management tasks of an internet service provider.

In this five-person team, your responsibilities will include daily operations, processing customer orders, project execution, and the following tasks:

• Rollout, operation and monitoring of complex IP networks consisting of routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers, both in operational settings and in projects.
• Monitoring, planning and implementation of expansions in our backbone network
• Support for 2nd-level support in the area of ​​routing and switching
• Consulting and support for other departments in the implementation of IT projects regarding network communication and security
• Implementation of newer network technologies and innovative IT solutions for optimization and automation
• Participation in on-call duty

You bring the following:

You have completed a technical degree in IT or telecommunications technology, or possess an equivalent qualification. Professional experience in a service provider environment would be advantageous. You are a communicative and dedicated team player who shares our enthusiasm for modern telecommunications. Furthermore, you should possess the following:

• Very good knowledge of the common signaling and transmission protocols of IP networks.
• Extensive knowledge of L3 network technologies, e.g., routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), policy-based routing, QoS, L3-MPLS
• Good knowledge of Linux and scripting
• Good analytical, planning, and conceptual skills
• Teamwork skills, willingness to learn and communication skills
• You enjoy working independently and in a goal-oriented manner, and this motivates you.
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.
