REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer in an operational support environment.
  • Experience with Cisco ACI is a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud-based networking environments is advantageous.
  • ITIL certification is beneficial.
  • Solid technical foundation in networking and infrastructure.
  • Hold a CCNA or CCNP certification.
  • Strong understanding of network and system architecture.
  • Ability to act promptly in addressing service issues and minimizing downtime.
  • Proven track record of meeting strict SLAs in high-demand environments.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively to resolve technical issues.
  • Well-organized, with attention to documentation and tracking of technical data and processes.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new network solutions, as well as enhance and expand existing infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and maintain networking equipment such as routers, switches, and load balancers.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, analyze root causes, and follow through to resolution.
  • Monitor network health, including device status and bandwidth utilization.
  • Escalate complex problems to relevant stakeholders, vendors, or principals when necessary.
  • Conduct routine maintenance of network infrastructure at the data center.
  • Plan and execute network changes or maintenance tasks, including firmware updates.
  • Ensure full compliance with organizational policies and maintain zero service level breaches.
  • Perform change and service requests assigned by the team lead within agreed SLA timelines.
  • Manage incident and service tickets from the service desk in line with SLA requirements.
  • Administer network devices and carry out regular firmware patching.
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors during network installation projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for new implementations and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Generate monthly network reports and provide updates for SLA and operational reporting needs.
