Job Summary • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT networking, with hands-on experience in installing and troubleshooting network devices, firewalls, and security systems. Install, configure, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and routers. • Perform system and network troubleshooting to quickly identify and resolve technical issues. • Ensure network security by implementing best practices and maintaining firewall rules and policies Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution and system upgrades. Network Setup & Maintenance • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. • Ensure network connectivity across all company locations. • Maintain clear and updated documentation of IT systems, configurations, and support procedures. Monitoring & Troubleshooting • Monitor network performance and optimize for speed, reliability, and uptime. • Diagnose and resolve network outages, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks. Security Management • Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other security tools. • Conduct regular security audits and patch updates. • Monitor and respond to network security incidents. User Support • Provide technical support for connectivity and access issues. • Manage user permissions and network access rights. Documentation & Planning • Maintain accurate records of network configurations, IP addresses, and hardware inventory. • Assist in planning network expansions and upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar role. • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). • Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Mikrotik devices (or similar). • Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and network security principles. • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Configuration experience with Fortinet, SonicWall, Aruba, and Cisco switches and firewalls. Preferred Skills • Network certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar. • Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.). • Knowledge of VoIP systems.
