ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Network Engineer to lead the physical deployment and integration of enterprise network infrastructure. The role requires serving as the technical authority for physical network expansions, ensuring routing systems and wireless infrastructure operate with high availability.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Configuring, installing, and troubleshooting core routing equipment to ensure efficient packet transmission and secure boundary control.
  • Expanding wireless infrastructure by deploying, tuning, and maintaining Wireless Access Points (WAPs) to deliver seamless mobile connectivity.
  • Conducting physical site surveys to determine optimal hardware placement and mitigate environmental radio frequency interference.
  • Managing cabling, power specifications, and rack space allocation for new enterprise hardware rollouts.
  • Producing and updating physical topology diagrams and hardware inventory records following deployment cycles.

MORE ABOUT YOU

  • Practical knowledge of configuring and installing enterprise-grade routing and traffic direction hardware.
  • Extensive background deploying enterprise wireless solutions and executing comprehensive site surveys for WAP installations.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting, and dynamic routing protocols.
  • Proven ability to physically rack, stack, and cable network equipment safely within data centre and campus environments.
  • Relevant industry certifications (such as CCNA, CCNP, or CWNA) are highly advantageous.
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities to isolate and resolve physical layer connectivity issues.
