Main Responsibilities: Management and support of Probe’s global enterprise network Initiate, scope and lead network changes required for corrective and reactive maintenance Ability to clearly highlight risks associated with network changes and identify steps to mitigate those risks Participate in an after hours on-call roster for supporting faults and any other critical business requirements Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to overall team learnings Escalation point for NOC/Service Desk/EUC, other junior engineers in the network team and ability to manage network related incidents end-to-end Raise faults with third party providers and pursue through to resolution Schedule and execute quarterly patch management of network devices Participate in reviewing and approval of proposed network designs, ensuring they align to Probe’s strategic direction, network standards Ensure systems and network security is maintained as defined by Probe Security Policies issued from time to time Required to meet Customer and Business deadlines and be accountable and take ownership Comply with and execute other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by management Ensure you do not discriminate against, harass or bully co-workers, prospective co-workers, Probe sub-contractors, visitors, clients or customers and ensure you treat people with fairness and respect in the performance of your duties. Ensure all Probe policies, including Business Management System and Security policies and procedures are adhered to. Ensure Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to. Key Skills and Personality Traits: Solid experience in enterprise routing and switching Solid working knowledge of network protocols comprising of TCP/IP, BGP, OSFP, HSRP and IPSEC Solid network troubleshooting, consulting, design and implementation skills Knowledge around Security (Firewalls). Experience preferred Sound knowledge of Security technical protocols, policies and process (VPN’s, ACL’s, IPSEC) Experience working with carriers will be highly regarded Proven project coordination skills Ability to resolve problems professionally and systematically in highly stressful environments Ability to document solutions, systems and changes Ability to plan and prioritize own workload according to the business requirements Qualifications and Typical Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience working as a Network Engineer Bachelors or Masters in IT/Networking/Telecommunications Engineering Experience in a multi-vendor environment Experience with zscaler and SDWAN (ZIA/ZPA) highly regarded AWS certifications are highly regarded Explore our end-to-end career opportunities across CX strategy, real-time speech analytics, conversational AI, outsourcing and digital transformation solutions.
