REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven work experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/HP network devices.
• Proficiency in configuring firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, JNCIA are preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support our organization’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in networking technologies, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability and security of network systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN infrastructure.
• Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patching.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with IT teams to support enterprise systems and cloud services.
• Maintain documentation of network designs, configurations, and processes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior staff.
