Description
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, and wireless network infrastructure. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN systems. Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime. Implement network security measures including firewalls, access control, and intrusion detection systems. Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patch management. Collaborate with IT teams to support system integration and infrastructure projects. Maintain network documentation including configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures. Monitor network usage and optimize performance for business requirements. Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and best practices. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator. Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and VLANs. Experience with network devices such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar technologies. Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security systems. Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Preferred Certifications: CCNA / CCNP CompTIA Network+ Fortinet NSE or equivalent networking certifications.
