We are looking for: Network Engineer (SD-WAN / SASE) Melbourne | Contract or Permanent | Immediate Start Work on real enterprise and government network transformations Join Sparx Solutions and deliver modern SD-WAN and SASE solutions across large-scale, mission-critical environments. We’re looking for a hands-on Network Engineer with strong core networking capability across LAN, WAN, and data centre environments, who enjoys solving real-world problems using modern networking and security platforms. The role You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle - from design through to deployment and optimisation - working on modern network and security solutions. You will: Design and implement LAN, WAN, and data centre network solutions Deliver and support SD-WAN deployments from design through to optimisation Support delivery of SASE / SSE architectures Deploy and support network security platforms Troubleshoot complex network issues and optimise performance Collaborate with architects, PMs, and security teams What you’ll bring Solid experience across LAN, WAN, and data centre networking Strong foundation in routing and switching Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (any vendor) Experience with enterprise networking technologies such as: Cisco, Juniper, or HPE (Aruba) Palo Alto Networks (firewalls / security) Meraki or Cato (highly regarded) Exposure to SASE / Zero Trust concepts Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Nice to have (not essential) Experience across multiple SD-WAN vendors (highly valued) Certifications such as CCNP, PCNSE, JNCIP, or equivalent Experience in enterprise or government environments
