Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES Implement DoD and local SSO security requirements, specifically Security Technical Implementation Guides of network equipment, while maintaining system efficiency, maintainability, and supportability. Install, configure, and troubleshoot routing and switching equipment, specifically Cisco appliances. Basic understanding and ability to install, configure and troubleshoot firewalls/boundary devices such as Palo Alto and F5 appliances. Monitor overall network performance through tools such as Solarwinds and provide immediate troubleshooting support and network improvements as necessary. Provide customer service support as required utilizing Remedy for incident response, change requests, and historical tracking. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Active US DoD Secret Clearance. 5 years of related experience 8570 IAT II level certification, i.e. active Security + CE Overview We are seeking a Network Engineer to provide technical support for our customer Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) in Alburquerque, NM.
