Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Network Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Hampton, VA. The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of voice, video, radio frequency, and/or data communications networks.

Responsibilities for the Network Engineer:

• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves network problems.
• Provides network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
• Determines network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• May provide guidance and leadership to less-experienced systems engineers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of network engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
• Knowledge of Data Center and Virtualization

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE NETWORK ENGINEER:

• 20+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an U.S. Government Active Top Secret Clearance
• Required Skills and Abilities: Must possess a completed CCNA certification.
• Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access
