The Network Engineer 1 - Central evaluates system networking needs and recommends improvements and modifications to existing infrastructure. The incumbent maintains the design and integrity of the University’s internal network, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments. The incumbent designs, develops, implements, and maintains the University’s communication networks with the goal of ensuring network integrity and maximum performance, and in furtherance of institutional goals and objectives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required. . Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.

  • Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
