Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Network Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will be exposed to the practical aspects of network engineering, gaining hands-on experience with state-of-the-art network technologies. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start their careers in the telecommunications industry while contributing to real-world projects that support Beeteck’s operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
• Work with senior engineers to configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
• Support the team in evaluating new networking technologies and products.
• Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on network projects and system upgrades.
• Perform routine checks and maintain network security by ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Assist in preparing network topology diagrams, reports, and other technical documentation.
• Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and insights on improving network efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in network engineering and telecommunications.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (OSI model, TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPN, etc.).
• Familiarity with networking hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls is a plus.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.) is an advantage but not required.
