MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience managing and building teams.
  • 6 years of experience in telecommunications at carrier working with optical network infrastructure, transmission systems, layer 2/3 routers, and data services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6 years of experience in telecommunications, OSP, ISP, AC/DC power systems, and relay rack/cabinet/cage construction.
  • Experience in demonstrating capabilities to influence across a broad, cross-functional organization.
  • Knowledge in data networking architectures and physical network components.
  • Understand of cloud computing, Linux server environments, network design and deployment, and managing infrastructure.
  • Ability to do multiple projects simultaneously and to learn new business and technical skills to adapt to changing environments

Responsibilities
  • Lead Network Delivery team delivering all terrestrial and subsea line systems, including long haul, local long haul, metro transport, and associated WAN capacity.
  • Provide leadership and transactional management for implementation teams located across multiple geographies and regions.
  • Lead cross functional initiatives with stakeholders in building the leadership capabilities to drive organizational transformation together.
  • Develop the measurement systems for your organization and apply statistical process control to improve the team’s performance against speed and quality.
  • Develop relationships with internal partners and vendors fostering collaborating to improve delivery through cycle time reduction.
