Responsibilities

Join Tuatahi First Fibre as a Network Information Capture Specialist and play a key role in shaping the accuracy and reliability of our network data. Reporting to the Network Information Lead, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that our physical network information is captured, maintained, and managed to the highest standard. Your work will directly support planning, design, construction, and the ongoing operation of our network across Aotearoa.

Here’s what you can expect in your day-to-day:

  • Process and update physical network data, including cables, ducts, pits, and poles, into Tuatahi’s Network Information Systems.
  • Interpret design and as-built plans for accurate geospatial data entry.
  • Carry out quality assurance checks to ensure consistency across network layers.
  • Assist with general enquiries and applications, including processing new connections and field audit data.
  • Oversee data requests and enhancements, ensuring timely updates, system improvements, and compliance with information security standards.
  • Collaborate with design, field, and build teams to validate and clarify information.
