POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a versatile Network, Systems and Support Engineer with service desk leadership. Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server environments, and enterprise networking. This role requires a technical professional capable of supporting our hybrid infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between cloud services and on-premises systems while maintaining optimal performance and security.
This is a hybrid role, with 2/3 days expected on site in Dusseldorf.
We also require fluent English & German language.

EDUCATION

· BSc/BA in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
Experience
· 3-5 years total experience in combined systems/network administration
· 2+ years specifically managing O365 environments (SharePoint/Teams)
· 3+ years Windows Server administration in production environments
· Network troubleshooting experience with Wireshark/ping/traceroute
· PowerShell scripting proficiency for automation tasks

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & SKILLSETS

Network Infrastructure (3+ years configuration/troubleshooting experience)
Routing/Switching: VLAN configuration, STP, OSPF, BGP (basic)
Firewalls: Policy management, VPN configuration, threat prevention
Wireless: WLAN controller management, RF optimization
Monitoring: SNMP, NetFlow, packet capture analysis
SD-WAN: Basic configuration and troubleshooting
Active Directory: Domain services, group policy management, LDAP integration
Server Infrastructure: Hyper-V storages, Terminal servers, RDS
Core Services: DNS/DHCP management, certificate services, print services
Security: Patch management, security baselines
Troubleshooting: Event log analysis, performance monitoring.
