JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a skilled Network Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in IPCore and NI to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance. The candidate should have a strong understanding of IP addressing, routing protocols, switching protocols, VLANs, Quality of Service (QoS), security protocols, and network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

Strong understanding of IP addressing, including IPv4 and IPv6, subnetting, and network optimization.
Familiarity with routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, and the factors affecting routing decisions.
Knowledge of switching protocols, including STP and RSTP, and optimization of network traffic.
Experience in creating and managing VLANs, considering security implications and best practices.
Understanding of Quality of Service (QoS) and its implementation for traffic prioritization.
Familiarity with security protocols such as IPsec and TLS, and their implementation on a network.
Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools to ensure network performance and identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including IPCore and NI.
Manage IP addressing, including familiarity with IPv4 and IPv6, subnetting, and network optimization.
Configure and manage routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP, and understand the factors affecting routing decisions.
Implement and optimize switching protocols, including STP and RSTP, to enhance network traffic.
Create and manage VLANs, considering security implications and best practices.
Prioritize network traffic using Quality of Service (QoS) and implement various QoS techniques.
Implement security protocols such as IPsec and TLS to protect the network from unauthorized access and malicious activity.
Utilize network monitoring and troubleshooting tools to ensure network performance and identify and resolve issues.
